Gday,

I'm from Sydney Concord and 29 years young. I like my American Cichlids but with only two tanks I'm pretty limited to what I can keep. Also married with 3 kids so thats another reason for having a limit to what I can keep. Also recently joined the NSWSC so I'll probably meet some of you guys at the meetings. Oh yeah my name is Adam too.

Gday all

Name is Gavin, Im 29 and I live in Cecil Hills in Sydneys west. Huge rugby fan, and also a general sports lover. also play pcs games and rpgs. for work I am an analyst/programmer.

fish wish I started with centrals and south americans about 1987. I moved on to africans about 1990 or 1991, too long ago to remember. had way too many types to remember, but now just have a variety of juvenile haps which I am growing up to breed. only 6 tanks at present, more will come as finance allows.

i keep malawi cichlids to many to list :p

i love this hobby but its addictive ;);)

i am running around 30 tanks at present with no space for anymore :o

i work as a supply manager and i am married with two great kids :rolleyes:

other pets "crystal the toy poodle and marvin the talking cokerteil ;):

life is good only down side need a bigger house so i can get some more tanks

I keep mainly "tankbusters" and catfish but also keep quite a few SA cichlids.

I'm a student and work part time at an aquarium store. My other hobbies include rugby union, boxing and athletics (what a jock ;) ) and im 18yo.

Job: Campsite co-ordinator (i run, lead on, cook for, and occasionally clean up after camps)

i have 6 tanks operational ATM and breed (with some success) Kribs, N. multifasciatus, J. trascriptus 'Gombe', Electric Yellows, A. jacobfreibergi 'Reginae', and bristlenose. I also have a nice male C. rhoadessi (who eats me out of house and home and would love to move to a tank with females in it!!!!) and a Betta splendens i rescued of a neighbor.

Other than that i enjoy almost any sport and am fascinated by almost anything biology related. I am currently studying biology (focusing on molecular, genetics, and ecology) but am taking a break in 2004 to earn some money to support my cichlid addiction :8:

I am 21 and 200+something months old.

I am an electrical project manager

I got my first tank and was introduced to cichlids some 6 months ago.

I now have 5 tanks and too many fish (nah! you can never have too many)

I'm not biased I have Malawi's, tang's and Americans.

I still cannot get a grasp of the scientific names, but I am having fun.

My other interests are Go Karting & cricket.

I have kept African cichlids off and on for about 5yrs

I currently have 6 tanks 5 with Malawi's and 1 planted with Americans

Hi All,

I'm Donna, 39yrs old, wife, mother of 11 yr old twins, clean holiday units, I have 5 tanks 4 with cichlids 1 with sword tails (daughters but I do all the work) 2 cats, 1 dog, 2 peachfaces, 1 rabbit, 1 mouse, 3 goldfish, 3 chooks...(I need to charge admission) also love reading & going to the beach

Name's Matt, 22, keeping S.A dwarfs and catfish, breeding cories when I have the space [in a unit, that's not often!!] and working for the great empire of woolies to fund this addiction.

Other interests: golf, soccer, sport in general, reading, sports, running, sports, spending time with my new niece [gorgeous!!], did I mention sports?

Hi all

My name is Tommy, almost 17 yrs old, high school student

i keep mostly Lake Tanganyika cichlids now.

Back in the old days i use to kept a bit of everything: brackish, satlwater, tropical -like tera, angel and other cichlids.

Only thing i love more than my frontosa is my dog :blink:

and my interest is just like most people my age i guess- like to go out and enjoy life

Name's Jordan, 25, still at uni and battling through the final torrid months of my PhD (anyone out there who has done the same will know my pain!). Only one tank at the moment, a largish colony of Ps. saulosi, but i am looking to expand.

Reside: Flemington, Melbourne.

Other interests: mountain biking, photography, hiking, outdoors....

My name is Daniel and i am 15 years old and i love keeping cichlids (especially convicts).

i breed convicts.

I keep community fish(danios and white clouds).

and i also keep 4 gouramis and a black widow.

i am pretty new into fish keeping.

4 foot breeding tank just Ps. saulosi

and my new tank with our new Ps. perspicax (orange top)

Great new look for the forum! I'm Nick, I'm an 'old guy' mid 50's, keep Americans

and have 10 tanks. I live in Five Dock in Sydney and I run a company called Brant that makes car alarms ( any WRX drivers out there?) for performance and turbo cars.Apart from fast cars I live and breathe American cichlids. I reckon SCP is

the greatest and I've made a lot of good friends off the forums.

i have a 2yo daughter and work in retail.

ATM i have a breeding colony of red jewels,

and a 6' that iam preparing for Lamprologus ocellatus,

if i can find some!!!!
