Kaizen I
G'day all,Might remember me as c2105208 on the previous system. I'm 20, from Newcastle / CC NSW.I'm into all types of aquariums - mainly planted and reef, however at the moment I seem to have almost all cichlids. I'm not fussy - americans or africans, seem to have more americans at the moment however! Cutting back to head back to reef tanks but something tells me I'll always have some cichlids Cheers,Adam

BadBlueWS6
Hrmmm.....let's see about this. My name is Claire I am from the US and yes, South Florida in Palm Beach where we can't vote right LOL I recently added a tank to my long list of Pets....I have African's now for the first time in my life and love them. I am not new to the Fish hobby, I've had tanks since the early 80's and have only been tank-less the last 9 yrs since moving to Florida from the northeast. No more snow! And in my spare time I spend alot of time with my car club, racing at the local drag strip with my car which is my other hobby that's turned into an expensive bad habit to go faster! It's very fast now for a new car with minimal modifications....okay, let me brag alittle. It runs mid 12 seconds in the 1/4 mile at 111-114 MPH...not bad for a Girlie shifting her 6 speed. Well, that's about it from me. I am glad to see there is an active forum for Cichlids...thanks Mr. Midgley for this board. Oh yeah, and just below is my BAD BLUE habit! http://home.earthlink.net/~01nbmws6/images/03-16-0286.jpe :D
smokedamage
HelloooooMmmm yes. fish. what started as a fun idea (getting goldfish fish at work) raged out of control in two short years, and now i am eight tanks deep and i don't think i can add up high enough to count the number of fish. Have bred for my own amusement more than anything else: Bettas (an outstanding failure)Swords, mollies & finally guppiesBristlenose, Electric Yellows, Kribensis, Angels (Diamond Scale)And yabbies, which kind of started this whole problem. The old man used to have fish when he was a child in the East so he's mad keen as well. In fact i blame him for most of the fish purchasing, he positively encourages me, which can't be a good thing. Anyway, have a vast amount of different fish, who all kind of mostly get along. Or they get sent to solitary or sold / given away.I have a lot of baby bristlenose, diamond scale angels, and kribensis including albinos, if anyone is absolutely dying to have some. Would like to find some gombi and i am crap at remembering anything about cichlids. In fact, i have no memory of anything, apart from hits of the eighties, films, and mid-to-late nineties girl pop. I can name the members of S Club 7.I play cricket, when i'm not doing one of many other things that keep my away from my fish. Or the fish in the house, because there are times that i won't own up to knowing anything about them Cheers!AL
