Ged
Fantastic setup Swen. Very reminiscent of Takashi Amano style of aquascaping. Simply beautiful

Link2Hell
It will look fuller when the sp. Pindare grow out more but will be goodfor surinamensoid Geo's I like a bigger footprint 2' wide as this is wherethey spend the most time but the 18" wide will domy Geo tank is only 5' x 18" x 18" until I get the 2x2 tanks cleaned outand re setruns Eheim 2260 and 2217 plus 2 x med sponge filters pH is approx 6.7but can vary 6.5 to 7.0 depend on where in the water change cycle thingsare and houses7 x sp. Rio Branco2 x A. heckelli1 x G. leucasticta6 x G. steindachneri3 x S. barbatum cats10 x Peppermint cats2 x L002 cats7 x L397 catsAlso have 2 nice young Chocolates and a couple of other fish growingto add to the mixwould really like to have access to the dwarf Crenacichla species as theyseem to fit in well from the overseas tank set ups I've seenI find the 12cm male Rio Branco are fairly pushy and the crowding pluswood structures help the ones being chased, the Male Heckelli also isboss of the tank and things stop when he cruises into the area

I'm yet to keep any geophagus, I have always thought they looked very interesting. Maybe next time in get an urge to re do my tank :-) They are great, so active and it is very interesting to watch them feed, expecially after a days fasting. If I change this tank I will likely get a huge colony of tropheus in it. Not overstocked IMO. Looks great.thanks ducksta It will look fuller when the sp.
