shannon
Would 15cm frontosa eat 5cm lethrinops?
damoq
Hey Shannon how are you mate??If it fits in its mouth then its a chance!!! But i have often put smaller fish in with my big frontosa and they havent touched them but if you really love your lethrinops then it might not be worth the risk!!Damo
shannon
That's what I was concerned about. Someone is selling 15cm ikola frontosa but not sure I wanna lose my red caps. Was even considering selling my furcifer .

firthy13
i had 10-12cm frontosa kill a few 4-5cm fry. the fronts didnt exactly eat them but they well and truly killed them. I wouldnt risk it. also in my opinion frontosa do the best in a species tank.

Alex
It is always possible. One thing you have to keep in mind when it comes to cichlids that it is always a possibility that the larger fish will eat the smaller one and choke on it, resulting in two dead fish. I've had this happen to me a few times over the years. Always sucks losing two fish, because one was hungry.Alex
shannon
Decided against the ikola. Can't wait for the red caps to start colouring.
