Yabbie Dabbie Do Posted March 31, 2012 Share Posted March 31, 2012 Got some burundi frontosa a few weeks ago and noticed that two of them have got a single perfect straight horizontal line going up the middle of them. Normal looking Frontosa with thick vertical bars except this one also has a thin blue horizontal line/bar (-----) going through the middle of all bars and along the whole of the fish. Sometimes, in dark tanks or fish down the bottom of the pecking order the fish go darker, and that can start with a darker horizontal line along the lateral line. In lighter tanks they seem to have more pronounced vertical dark bars and white in between.To me it's pretty normal. They certainly aren't cross bred.
