oztroopy1
Hi Peoples, I was speaking with a mate and he was telling me how he used to breed yabbies by the 100's now I was wondering can you feed the very small babies to my Africans ?? Ducksta
I haven't fed them to Africans, but I fed them to Americans and community fish. I guess it depends on if the Africans are herbivores or not. In the egg, larval and new born soft shell stages, they make great foods for smaller fish.
Teamsherman
How often do they breed and is it hard to do? And should i just go and buy a shedload of them and hope they pair up? Cheers, Alan.
thermofish
You need a bath tube or they will escape. Otherwise make sure your tank is only half full. try this link. http://www.blueyabby.com/Breeding.asp
Guest Gutty
I've fed them to my Africans plenty of times. Only Haps and Peacocks though........... I wouldn't feed them to any herbivores such as Trophues or mbuna
Mazimbwe
hehe...I have fed quite a few of them, even some larger ones to make it more interesting, to my Fossi's. They love em!!
