Josh
Its an OK price, price it all new and see what it costs. What are the spec's on the 6 ft tank?
mcloughlin2
It depends. Does the tank have scratches? Is it euro braced or standard bracing? What style cabinet and hood? Warranty still on the tank? I wouldn't write it off completely - 12mm all round is a nice solid tank that you can rely on.
raz7au
couldnt see any scratches, loks like a pine cabinet, not sure on bracing, No warranty on tank,

JPM1976
Your paying extra for the 12mm glass which you don't need on a 4 foot tank.
raz7au
Your paying extra for the 12mm glass which you don't need on a 4 foot tank. Please understand this tank is 2.5ft tall and 2 ft wide, this is why it is in 12mm.
Josh
Its true you probably dont need that thickness of tank, but it really wont hurt to have. If you think it is a fair price then I would buy it.

CThompson
Your paying extra for the 12mm glass which you don't need on a 4 foot tank. Please understand this tank is 2.5ft tall and 2 ft wide, this is why it is in 12mm. I built my 2.5' high tank from 15mm glass. At 2.5' high, 12mm would be minimum.
