anchar Posted March 18, 2004 Share Posted March 18, 2004 The following places are sites for rock: quarries mullocks/tailings stone masons monumental stone workers (ie. headstone builders) landscape suppliers road works (new cuttings etc.) farms/private rural properties aquarium stores nurseries salvage stores (eg. WA Salvage, Red Dot have smaller pebbles) check "classifieds" Obviously places such as mine sites need to be treated with personal caution and chemical contamination (by product from the mining process) is a risk.
