rosco
I have been simulating a dry/wet season in my peppermint tank. Ie no water change for 4 weeks then a series of 3 30% water changes with cold water over a week and it has worked. I also removed all the substrate (and the Billion or so trumpet snails) and last night I checked the males cave and there is a nice clutch of 30-40 eggs. So after 3 years of growing them up I have finally cracked them

brucem
Well done rossco. Good to see your effort rewarded. I gave up on the pepps. What's the next mountain to climb? Bruce
Joel
Congrats Rosco Its so much more satisfying when they are very difficult to breed. The next challenge will be raising them! Goodluck with them. Cheers Joel
rosco
thanks guys any hints on raising them would be helpful and muchly appreciated What's the next mountain to climb? Bruce, I think some more sensitive tangs like lepto's, macrops or xeno's. I have trophs and W/C occies breeding (although I am having aggression problems) so I might step it up shortly. I am also starting up a L333 colony and I am also going to have a go at Australian Native Rainbow fish and gobies for something a little diferent cheers rosco
