BlackGhost
Nice little fellow how big only small looks like. They loose their colour a bit as they get bigger dont they? Good find.
D6C1
I've gotten myself a nice one at 15cms. Thanks mainos! I will take some pics later this week and post them up. The g/f has the camera and shes overseas. Hes out and about almost in no time when I put him in the 6footer. My RD came over and had a look at him and decided he wasn't tasty, so he left him alone. LOL!
mianos
They don't seem to lose colour but the pattern spots stay about the same size so they look different with more spots and sort of joined spots.
D6C1
Just had a close look at the guy with only the dim light turned on the tank. He has his colour and all his spots seem to be distinct... Imagine the pics posted here, but on a bigger scale.
Ant
Cute little fellow. Their colours don't change as they get older, if anything they intensify. Here is a link to my 20 month old L001. http://www.aceforums.com.au/index.php?showtopic=19729 How is he going? I find that mine is a lot more shy than my gibbie and scrophus and he tends to hide more. Anthony
D6C1
So far mine has been out and about and even sticks to the front of the tank and the rear right in the open. Hes not shy at all. I have another 2 common pleco with him, and are shy and are always hiding. I had a look at your pics. Hes like that when its not bright. If its bright, he loses a bit of colour like in the second link that you got. http://www.sydneycichlid.com/gallery/album...pot_1.sized.jpg Is he chewing on that BN there? Ant
lol.....they tend to ignore the BN.
