Burek
DIfferent Water Parimiters need, Hongie=Lake Malawi , Frontosa= Lake Tanginyika. Your choice :D
DanceswithDingoes
would be ok until the fronty eats the hongie
nels87_o_O
That won't be the case until a year or so later. Frontys takes ages! You'll be safe forawhile.
FrontyKing
In my experience I have had a 15cm hongie male, 3 10cm hongie females together with 15 fronties ranging from 8 cm to 32 cm and everyone got along fine. They all lived together for about 3 years and still do so but that's just my experience. HTH Nick.
YeW
I suspect it would be fine. Hongi Island (I'm assuming here you are talking about Pseudotropheus??) can stand up for themselves. C. frontosa is no threat and an fairly inept predator so I'd imagine they'd be fine indefinately in a large tank. My concern would be that the activity of the hongi may put the fronny's off breeding/feeding etc. HTH -
dobbin4
This is a 6-7cm Ps hongi, so the frontosa is at risk, as its only 3-4cm and only a 3ft tank, hope the hongi is female.Mate u need a bigger tank or fish that are more the same size, if the fron was bigger no probs but at 3-4cm you are asking for trouble.
