gianniz
is the frozen brineshrimp small enough for the calvus fry to eat it? cause if so i rather get the frozen one than hatch those eggs.
Ben
You can get frozen baby brine shrimp. That is best for your calvus fry. Frozen brine shrimp will be fine once they reach 3cm or so. My 4cm+ calvus still eat baby brine that falls out of the fry tubs.HTH
Mazimbwe
Frozen Brine Shrimp is a little large, IMO, for the Alto fry...what about frozen Daphnia?I think the Frozen Baby Brine is called Artemelia(sp?), someone will correct me I am sure, and is a good food to use as part of a mix.Live Micro-worms, live baby Brine-shrimp and other live foods are also a very good source of protien and help increase growth-rates of Tang's in general...and Alto's especially. anchar
I think it's Artemia Maz. The frozen baby brine from Posaqua is very small and will be fine for new Altos.merjo
nannat
if you hatch from eggs and feed in the first few days after hatch is another way of course
