anchar
Hi Jerome, Welcome to the forum Lovely tank....very natural and asthetically pleasing. As a geologist, I would plonk a nice little feature rock in, just off centre...but that's a personal thing as I love my rocks merjo
punie
Hi all, thanks for the replies, Well, this is my low maintainance tank, thus it has no CO2 injection and No base Fert! List of plants i have in it: Ambulia Java Fern Narrow Leaf Java Fern Broad Leaf Java Fern Winderlov Java Moss Singapore Moss Barcopa Caroliana Barcopa Moneira Rotala Macaranda Ludwigia Arcuta Barclaya Longifolia 'Red' Elustralis Stella Water Sprite Vallis E. Tenellus or Pygmy Chainsword Anubias 'Nana' That should be about it i guess. Btw, i wouldn't go for glosso, its too much of a hassle and a high demanding plant. Been there, done that. Tank Specs: Size: 2ft x 1 x 1.5 CO2 Injection: Nil Lighting: 72watts, (2 x 36w PL or energy saving tubes) powered by Elbiru Eballast for 12hrs a day Filteration: Small 600 l/h internal filter Fert regime: Water change every week, addition of Macro and Micro supplements (PMDD), No base fert. Fauna: Neon Tetras: 20 odd pieces Pearl Gouraimi: A pair Glass/Ghost Shrimp: Countless Banded Khuli Loach: 1 Mystery or Apple Snails: 2 Guppies: About 10 odd, still spawning Share your tanks guys! Brett4Perth
Lovely tank Great to see some some more planted tanks from Perth. Interested in this lower tech approach. What parameters is your water maintained at? What do you add to the water? Cheers Brett
