mark_82
Hi, I'm looking at buying LED lights for my 5x2x2 african cichlid tank. Do you have any recommendations? Cheers Mark

Elliotti and it really makes the colours of the fish pop.
Skippy
I've never used this company personally but I've read a few reports from happy customers. http://makemyled.com.au/

Their lights look good but are a bit pricey. I'm looking for something under $300.
mdk54
Ive gpt an Aqualina 5ft LED on my 6x2x2 that cost me about $500 at the time. Great light and comes with a remote that can dim all channels. Didnt want to spend as much on my 4x20x2 so got one of these interchangeable pod LED lights from the LFS this time. $130 and you can add extra pods for less than $10 each. Slipshodman
Just a heads up on the AquaSyncro, I had one of these but due to it sitting under a hood it got moisture in the casing and rotted out the electrical rails the pods get power from so only one end of the light works now. I am sure they are fine in the right situation though but it is something to be aware of
mdk54
Yeah cheers for the heads up mate. It is actually under a hood so will keep an eye on it.
