DFishkeeper
I've been playing around in the fishroom today on my day off and noticed one of my Dimidiochromis compressiceps (aka malawi eyebiter) females looking quite gravid with her tube down. So I kept an eye on that tank and have now just spent the last half-hour or so watching them breed I've been keeping and breeding fish for 50 years or so and malawis for 20 years and I just never get sick of watching them spawn. Particularly spectacular fish like these guys. Almost makes me interested in getting a decent camera so I could spend countless hours taking countless pictures trying to get ones good enough to post up for everyone's enjoyment. But only almost, I just can't see the attraction in it. Sorry. maxib
I agree. Im only a novice but i have malawis mating and spawing in my tank. I too love watching their behaviour. Im addicted to cichlid. I will never stop trying to go bigger and better. A decent camera doesnt have to set you back much. Many of the auto matic digital cameras these days help alot with " taking the picture" allowing you to point and shoot with good enough results. Having said that some of the pictures i take which i consider could might be garbage.
