Daryna88
Hey guys,I'm new to keeping cichlids and just bought a variety of fry, but for the life of me i can't remember some of their names. They are all around 3-5cm.Thank you http://s1378.photobucket.com/user/Daryna88/media/Mobile%20Uploads/PicsArt_1437463178055_zpswo9utawa.jpg.html?sort=3&o=2http://s1378.photobucket.com/user/Daryna88/media/Mobile%20Uploads/PicsArt_1437463313685_zpsrpggqgk7.jpg.html?sort=3&o=1http://s1378.photobucket.com/user/Daryna88/media/Mobile%20Uploads/20150721_133708_zps9xo3fj3y.jpg.html?sort=3&o=
none
Your best bet would be to contact the breeder / shop you bought them from. Many species look identical or very similar at that size. For Aulonocara, Protomelas spp., many Mbuna it would be guesswork. It's important to know what you have so if you re-sell or breed at some stage fish aren't incorrectly labelled. Chuckmeister
Hi Daryna, welcome to the forum. The first one looks like a Pseudotropheus (maylandia) lombardoi to me. Realistically though it could be many fish as None mentioned. No idea about the other 2 sorry.None offers the best solution. the problem with losing track of what the fish are is that the fish is fine for display purposes but you cant really do anything with them if you decide to do more.If you use the tag on photobucket it will post the actual image into your post
Daryna88
I believe this is a flameback just hoped to get some confirmation
Chuckmeister
Sorry Daryna but that is not a Pundamilia nyererei (Flameback)This is an old one I had...Yours is a different shape and the photo is difficult to see any markings but the flameback has vertical black striping on the body. Quite thick and pronounced.
