maxib
Hello. I was just wondering if anyone has had experience with Chinese Algae Eater (Gyrinocheilus aymonieri).Ive read some pretty shocking stories about these fish. I have one atm, its about 2 inches long with my mbuna. They dont seem bothered by it and give it the occasional peck. What can I expect from this fish? simy696
looks like there good algae eaters when young but when they get bigger they change to meat eaters and may take a interest in your fish.
maxib
Yea. I read a story about one taking a discus apart overnight. Others say mbuna keep em in check pretty well being that they are fast moving and aggresive. If you have a story about the CAE feeding on your mbuna let me know.
