cooder
What does Ozone generator do? Doesn't sound very environment friendly.Um, im pretty sure it puts a mini version of the ozone layer, in the room where the machine is, basically killing everything... Used alot in the cleaning and restoration industry, especially for odors!
Link2Hell
they are used as an alternate to UV in a large sump system
Euan Edwards
I've been using ozone for a few years in sumps and cant talk them up enough.Great units once you get your head around the negativity from those who have never used them.On a side note the swimming pool industry overseas is pushing them. But other technologies like ionising units and UV units are also becoming more common placeThere is a ioninsing unit, well I think it is, I'm researching at the moment which would be very useful for ponds/systems.I'm thinking of combining Ozone with an Ioniser for clarity, low running cost, and low consumable costs.New swimming pool technologies are easily transferred over to large aquarium systems/ponds.Slightly off topic but related
