undercoverbrother
Hi Swifto,NLS Thera A is pretty good, an alternative to NLS is also New Era Red, in case you wanted to know.Cheers,UCBFrontosaFanatic
frankenstrat
any of them will be fine, the larger pellets would probably be better.I use thera A but I don't know if it comes on the larger type.just be weary of the "sinking" variety that tends to float more than it sinks, if you run sump filters it is more than a little annoying. I think in a few years time their "sinking" pellets should revert back to sinking pellets. What size are your Frontosa? NLS Thera A+ do come in 3 sizes 1,2,3mm.I can PM you a few places you could visit to stock up.
swifto
I'll probly use 1-2mm as my fronts (chumbu) are 4-7cm.greatly appreciate it fully yellow need to get some tomz.
CThompson
I am not sure if NLS Thera A comes in a 3mm size (google and find out) either, but dependant on your fish size, a 1mm size may be the size you need. Normal NLS will be fine also, Thera A just has a lot more garlic in it than the normal NLS, for its increased "medicinal" benefits,. It costs a little more, but it is your choice which you want. If your fronts are larger, the larger sized pellet will be better, and if floating is an issue, just pre-soak it for a bit till it sinks. Don’t soak excessively though as this can bleed out nutrients, as it will with any manufactured dry food, and I would assume NLS to be no different in this regards..NLS is still the best ingredient aquarium food available. waruna
Hi Swifto,Here's a list of aquarium stores that carry NLS in NSW:http://www.tqtf.com.au/retailers.php?state=nswThera A comes in .05mm, 1mm, 2mm, 3mm, 6mm sized pellets. All sinking pellets. We haven't had any issues with "floating pellets" since our November shipment. Thanks Craig:-)
YAM
I have breed 100s of fronts on orca pellets alone with on problems and its cheap. It does stain the water but its cheaper to up the filteration then pay $60 a kilo.As i use 2kg a week
