Alex
I just thought some people might like to see this. i ripped this pic off another site to show the extent that fish are being hybridized/mutated these days. At first when the whole flowerhorn/hybrid craze started i didn't really care TOO much but this is too much this is past the stage of just trying to make a buck this is inhumane.balloon peacock!http://www.tropical-fish.com.tw/images/1105.jpgdimi X labhttp://www.tropical-fish.com.tw/images/1119.jpgI know YeW abd alot of the admin/mods are against hyrbids but i feel this needs to be seen. But if its too much feel free to delete it.

Exiledonmainstreet
We see this far too commonly in America:( It's a shame:( However, as long as there are people willing to buy these fish, they will continue to mutate them:(, supply and demand. Guest Panga
that looks disgusting. i dont know how people can be so cruel to animals by doing things like that to them.its amazing what people do to make $ these days. But while there is a market for them and there is willing people to buy them we will never stop this cruelty to animals. Sutalleco
thats nothing compared to the scissor tail parrots my LFS constantly has...the tail fin is lopped off as fry and the dorsal and anal migrate towards eachother...the fish look retarded and i dont know why anyone would want something so ugly and unnatural. eRiCfrontosa
I'm pretty angry about hybridisation and after hearing that there is a hybrid albino frontosa's out there has got me fuming. Hybrids are hideous, when will people realise this. As long as there is a market for these fish these fish will continue to be sold to unsuspecting buyers thinking that they are authentic.
