Kerrin
Hey all,I have a friend who will be setting up a 10gal shellie tank with some of my n. Similis fry and I was wondering what you all think is an appropriate size for the fry to be introduced. A couple of the fry in the tank are now at about 1cm, no barring showing as yet though. Would they be big enough to handle the move/new tank, or is it best to wait a Little longer? Thanks in advanceKerrin
cooder
If it were me, i would wait until they are around 2 cm,
Kerrin
The thing is though that they aren't the biggest fish, my 2 females aren't much more than 2 cms. This is why I'm not sure, I kinda figured that maybe it would be best to wait until some markings appear?
cooder
Thats probably the best idea, they move better when older i think.
Link2Hell
Kerrinso long as water parameters are similar and filter is established I don't think there will be a problemuse a syphon hose as they are to small to net or if they retreat to a shell just remove the shell
