Kerrin
well, I just checked the other tank, and here's what I foundI don't hold out much hope, as it's their first time, but we will see!
Ged
Fantastic video and photos. I know I would be stoked to have them spawning so congratulations.I also fixed up you videos. To post them up so they are embedded into your post you need to use the URL so it looks like this.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v= inS6WLcFhTI &feature=player_detailpageFor this example I have placed a space between the = and the & so you can actually see the URL. Kerrin
well one of the sterbai corys was observed eating his fill of eggs while the male ram sat idly by last night, bit of a brain snap if you ask me but as I said, it is their first time. I guess im more excited about the fact that they are obviously happy enough to breed, and I know that getting them to raise fry successfuly is difficult at the best of times, let alone in a community tank, but hey, it would have been nice.im sure there will be a next time, and I still think the rams in the video (different tank) will have a good go at it so fingers still crossed! Link2Hell
when the eggs are all gone find a flat stone a bit bigger than the egg patchand bury it where the spawn site is to a point that it has light covering of sand over itthe idea being they will come back to their spawn site and clean the stone then spawnon it so you can remove it to try and raise the frycongrats on getting the spawn all looking real good Kerrin
