Stepod72
Hi all,I have a small tank set up by itself for my cherry shrimp and a pair of bristle nose, I noticed in the tank some very small wrigglers mainly in the sponge filter. They are very small and white in colour, I do a water change every week and the water is fine.Just wondering if anyone could shed se light on this as I don't know if this is a problem I need to fixCheers,Steve. Stepod72
G'day chris,Tried the photo to post, didn't show them up to well.Basically they are around 5 to 8mm long and white in colour, they move in the water the same as mosquito larvae and seem to take a liking to the sponge filterCheers,Steve. frankenstrat
I've had them before and i treated them with a white tablet that was In a white bottle with a yellow label (sorry that was pointless) but I took a sample to the guy at my lfs and he said not to even bother adding any remedy, just change 20% of the water weekly for 4-5 straight weeks and the problem went away for me. And I was also told that they are no real problem if you do leave themThere, apparently
