Fins Posted June 25, 2004 Author Share Posted June 25, 2004 Hi Andy, Yeah, that's a good article. There's no real easy way. It depends on the situation you're given. If you are growing a whole bunch, then you can safely assume the larger ones are males and the smaller ones are females. Or just wait till they pair up. If you are going out to buy 1 or 2, then it becomes more difficult. I always look at the breeding tubes side on (profile). Basically, thicker tubes are females.
