tanoz
So my bristlenoses decided to breed. only problem is they bred inside one of my wavemakers as it wasnt turned on. i was about to take it out just now and pack it away untill i saw that. So my question is, will the father hopefuly go back to take care of it? if not how do i put them into a tumbler? i have one but the eggs appear to be attached to the wall so what is the best way to remove it without damaging the eggs. thanks in advance =] tanoz
Timmygt33
Not sure mate, the eggs will go off and fungi will grow on them if there still for to long. If the male isnt over them fanning with his tail i guess there is nothing to loose by bouncing them
moez
dont worry. once they breed, they breed every 4 to 5 weeks.

krellious
If you can go without the wave maker for a week or 2 you can jsut move it to a different tank and let them grow there. Once they leave the wave maker or have lost most of there egg sacks they can fend for themselves and can be removed by yourself if they dont leave on there own. andrew.vid
well the way i move the eggs, is first of all my eggs would be in a breeding log... the male will be on top of the eggs fanning them as mentioned, then i would simply put the whole cave with the father into a seperate fry saver hanging on my tank. Timmygt33
They are fairly hardy little guys, a move shoule be ok to another tank, just put them into a tank with the same water they came from with the male or bounce them to make sure they dont go rotton/fungi
