Jodannar
Hi Guys, Heading to Sydney this weekend(tonight) for some social events. Now that the new tank is up and running, thought I would also do a bit of a look around Sydneys more popular aquarium stores. IF I find some fish that I NEED to have :S What would be the best transportation method. I havent transported fish long distance in the past, and worry a little about the potential temperature drop in the bags. I have some styrofoam tubs I could use to insulate, or a small eski, dont have anything i could provide as a heat source though. Would I need to bother? Travel time would probably be 3.5 hours door to door, so oxygen wont be a problem. What precautions/preparation should I make?
krellious
esky, blanket, car heater, or styrofoam should be enough to keep them warm. Also make sure the fish are individually bagged just to ensure no deaths by aggression.
