Snails in Bristlenose Tanks

Can anyone help with suggestiong based on experience of what fish will eat snails and leave Baby BN alone? I was told Clown Loaches will do this (I was also told leporinus would and it ate everything that moved).?

yeah clown loaches will eat the snails and they should not eat the baby bn

Pakistaini loaches or chain loaches also, depending on the size of your tank.

chain loaches might be better as they don't grow as big.

Thanks for the replies - is the suggestion that clown loaches won't eat BN eggs either?

I believe any of the commonly available loaches would eat any bristlenose eggs and newly hatched fry. Fry that have reach 1.5-2cm should be ok from any loaches under 3-4".

I would wait for any current batches to reach a decent size and then put the loaches in to remove snails. Alternatively you can try a snail rid product but I've never had any experiance with them so can't comment on effectiveness or side effects.
