Pelvicachromis roloffi

Pelvicachromis roloffi has not been seen in the Victorian hobby for many years. Suddenly my LFS advertises two pairs available for sale at a reasonable price.

On quiziing the LFS, they claim that Pelvicachromis roloffi were bought from "someone" in Sydney who is a breeder of them.

These "kribs" (as I will call them for now) are a beautiful looking fish especially when the females are in full breeding colouration. Just they seem to have a little two much yellow on them for my recollection of Pelvicachromis roloffi.

It would be greatly appreciated if anyone can cast some light on them. If not I will keep them as "kribs", attempt to breed them and sacrifice some offspring to get them identified.
