nanikjava
Just out of curiosity how do you find a starter for Daphnia in Sydney ?
polecat
Even in colder areas, Daphnia will survive. I have a bath dug into the ground and every year during the warmer months we have Daphnia. The big problem occurs when a yabby moves in, for some reason the Daphnia start to disappear! I would not have thought the yabby would eat the Daphnia, but once the yabby has been moved out, the Daphnia breed up. The Daphnia must lay eggs that survive the winter months.
