My significant other has a community tank setup with danios and her little guys seem to tolerate it just fine. She just has a hang on filter that's a bit to big for the tank so it provides a fair bit of movement. Not sure how they would go with a power head. Hope this helps. dobbin4 Posted May 16, 2010 Share Posted May 16, 2010 The giant danio would be fine as long as the cichlids are not to large and agro.They are very fast swimmers and grow lg, but they dont like to high a ph.
