Mattzilla
They might as well be rabbits cause they are breeding like them This female koi marble veiltail was responsible for the 'monster spawn'.... I then put her with this smokey veiltail and these are pic of the second spawn i have had from them. The first spawn is almost 2 weeks old and these are about 3 days old wrigglers. All are doing well and they should produce some great varieties in their offspring. Any of you genetic geeks out there know roughly what they should produce???? as always your comments are welcomed Matt
sandy001
Looking good I counted 835 wrigglers, how many did you count.
mcloughlin2
It's impossible to tell what the offspring would look like without first knowing the parents background (Several generations) and then identifying which colours are dominant, recessive or co dominant. sandy, how could you possibly count those wrigglers? The back portion of that leaf is one single mass of opaque tails! Any pictures of your breeding setup Matt? Must have a decent setup going to grow all those babies up. ziad
Soooo Good. Well done. I have no idea how you will sell all these fish.. but I my comps would produce these numbers.
fry_2_buy
Brilliant pics... as for the genetics, depends on the bloodline of each angel and who their parents were (their type). If they were all of the same type for eg. then you can expect a 50-50 ratio half smokey veiltail and half koi marble veiltail.
CThompson
Looking good I counted 835 wrigglers, how many did you count. I counted 836 - you missed the one that had fallen off onto the back leaf Nice shots
