Foti
changed the post i would like to know what you think is a good amount of briselnose cat fish for a 6ft ? and could they still breed if there are cuckoo's with them ?? or the Synodontis petricola. thank you
Boots n all
How many BN's? How many other fish are there first? if its just to keep the tank clean then l would say 1 for every square foot should do the job, as for will they breed? yes but l would suggest 90% of the young will be eaten by the Syno's

dobbin4
6fter is no good for breeding pepp cats They will do fine in a 3fter As said you will lose most of your fry if not all. Cats breed best by themselves Read some info on them will tell you more
Foti
yes this is a very old post i ended up getting 6 peppermints and none of them are any where near breeding stage so yes question answered i got six in a 6ft my fish count this has gone through the roof , only problem is that when i pick a fish to get ride of. i keep my eye on it for the next few day's then realise that i cant part with it so the only thing i can come up with is me getting a bigger tank
