Cannula Posted April 27, 2007 Share Posted April 27, 2007 Always wanted one since I first saw one so I bought a male last weekend just off a foot long to go in my six footer and I was wondering if anyone has any experience with them. He seems happy with the American cichlids and American/African catties and the Tandanus but I was thinking of getting a female for him or another male. I've seen them only where I got him from and the tank was only a three footer so I'm unsure how they will act in a 6x2x2 where a territory could be made. Cheers! crossback Posted July 18, 2008 Share Posted July 18, 2008 Yes, I do, I had three 1 male and 2 female before, They are quite a peacefull fish. But they will eat anything that will fit in their mouth. Unfortunately they all got eaten by my bigger fish. In your 6x2x2 they will do fine. By the way what do you have in your tank? Good luck with then they are a nice fish. Not pretty but got personalty.
