fishbits Posted November 25, 2003 Share Posted November 25, 2003 Hi All,I have a Dimi comp female who is not looking so well.Water conditions are fine, eating well 3 cubes of blood worm a day, she is 15 cm long, swim well but she still keeps losing weight her stomach in concaved. I have done a course of Mediflex to no avail. anchar Posted November 26, 2003 Share Posted November 26, 2003 Hi Sean, I have used two products with success. The first is Fluke and Tapeworm Tablets (by Aquamaster). Active ingredient is Praziquantel. Repeat dose in a week (don't forget water changes to remove egg casings etc from gravel. The other product I have use is Pig and Poultry wormer. Both work well. The Aquamater tabs. don't get rid of Camallarus worm though. Ivomec does - we experimented with this for a while and overdosed a Jewel who was in really bad shape. It was comotosed for a week, worms came out in huge numbers, but he's up and swimming now and seems fine. merjo Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
