now that i mentioned lens, i remember there was a guy in the birdshow who sat in the middle of the stand lugging what looked to me like a Canon EF 400mm f/2.8L lens resting on a monopod attached to a Canon 1Ds MkII....that was one serious set of equipment costing ~$20000!!! :shock:

i would have liked to see the pics he took!!! But i must say it would have been hard to track the fast moving birds of prey.

i did notice your latest photoshoot did have a "horrible grey cast" especially in photos number 1,2,3,7 and 8!!! :lol4:;)

Its called greyscale. You might have heard of it?

But anyways. Whats a B&W UV filter worth? Seems to be effective. :thumb

The one having a munch on something is a Peregrine Falcon, and the last one with the awesome colours is a male Golden Pheasant (i used to have a pair of these)

That bird show is awesome isnt it, i think it's about time i went again.
