bassoonboy
Hi All, Some of my Anubias plants in my 3 foot tank have holes in the leaves. The plants seem to be doing well? I do not fertilize or co2 just a light. Am I doing something wrong or could it be the fish doing the damage? I have bleeding heart tetras, siamese algae eaters, kooli loach, clown loaches and glass cats. The new growth seems to encounter the problem more than the established foliage. Some pics of my setup, sorry for the quality. I haven't quite got the photo thing happening! I hope they work. http://community.webshots.com/photo/553057...094877915FsZhXv http://community.webshots.com/photo/553057...094877915AuoUsW http://community.webshots.com/photo/553057...094877915LEWfAf Thanks, Pat
mianos
I often get a few holes in the older leaves. Your tanks look like mine, lots of anubias. Eventually the older leaves die off and new leaves grow without holes and such. With anubias you will be rewarded highly for zen like patience. pride
I bet its the clown loaches. I had anubias and java fern in with loaches and they would constantly pop holes in the leaves.
