mcloughlin2
Guys how many mainganos could be put into a 48x14x20 tank? I have 1 male and 5 females at the moment and will be getting another male & 4 females during the week hopefully.. Will having this many affect breeding results? Im presuming i could fit up to 15-20 in there but just want to check to make sure... Thanks

sandy001
Hi Craig You could put 15-20 in no problem depending on your filtration & frequency of water changes. Cheers Dave
CThompson
The questoin isn't how many CAN you put in, it is how many SHOULD you put in! The numbers you mention should be fine, but be wary of two dominate males making strife should they both be of equal size and think they should be the boss. More fish = more maintainance, so make sure you take care of water changes and filter cleans. Craig
