we have driven fish down from the gold coast to sydney but they were only about 10inches and bagged with oxygen and doubled bag with a layer of newspaper surrounding each bag before being inserted into another bag, all survived the trip well , have only done it once though, i think if a fish comes out of highly oxygenated water like a reef system you can run into problems ,

cheers

Been there done that. Make sure that the fish got a fair bit of room in the bag so it doesnt trash around and bust it.

Also make sure you add some de-stresser to the water and some oxygen.

Pad the box up with blown up bags when you sit the bag with the fish in it so it doesnt get thrown around the box.

Hope that helps.
