i was wondering if furcifers will go alright with Ps.elongatus??

as i am getting 9 elongatus son and i was wondering if i could get some furcifers in the future to go wit them?

i have been told that the elongatus will bite the furcifers long fins?

is this true??

thanks

I wouldnt.

Pseudotropheus as a genus are quite aggresive and pushy.

The furcifers would get pushed aorund and bitten and what not.

If you decide to go with mbunas it is best to stick to other mbunas and maybe some large haps.

Delicate species with Pseudotrohpeus is a no no.

They probably are quite peaceful compared to many other mbuna. I tend to agree that the furcifers will be a bit irresistable for them though. As saudukar says, furcifers are quite delicate, and prefer a bit of peace and quiet. Peace and quiet is not something mbuna know about.... laugh.gif

EY and mbuna are cool tho....

Cheers,

Jason
