yellow
i recently posted up a wtb ad in the classifieds about these fish and found i didnt get many responses to people who had them.this got me to wondering how many people are currently keeping or breeding these guys.i know they were never as popular as the other varients .just like to do a quick head count on who out there is currently keeping them.is it because thier hard to come by or is it because people are keeping them but not breeding them.the ones i want are for a friend typical the one thing he wants has to be hard to find

electric green
I have a colony of about a dozen presently occupying a 30"x30" that I have.Down here in Melbourne they aren't that rare. I come across them through the Aquarium shops ,fellow members of the V.C.S. and they come up at club auctions either V.C.S.[next auction 8th of April] or E.D.A.S. They in fact seem to be as common as the other two types of Acei. Electric Green.
Mbuna
there must be alot out there because of the size of there mouthfuls and prolific breeding. I used to get 50-60 fry from a 6cm female. you can pick them ap quite cheap at some lfs for around $15 for sub adults. hth
dobbin4
As you know Jason I have them. I'm surprised as Ben and Andy breed heaps of them. Just shows must be a lot of dead ones. Heaps of the yellow tail around,
