wattletree
Does anyone have any ideas on how to catch holding yellow labs?Short of dismantling the whole tank I have tried just about everything I can think of.Mind you I am rather new at this breeding thing
sandy001
I always catch my fish after the tank has been in total darkness for about 2 hours. I then use a torch to spot holding fish before turning room light on. You will get few minutes to catch her before she fully wakes up. It also helps to not have too much rock work in your breeding tanks. Hope this helps Cheer's dave
D6C1
I would use two nets. Set one up as a trap and with the other net, coax her into the trap net.
Camo
Hey I know what you are saying mate i have yellow labs and when they have mouthfuls they are one of the quickest fish to catch but i juts use 2 nets and it seems to work fine for me. Takes me about 1 or 2 minutes to catch them. HTH' Cameron
D6C1
Just be patient with the nets. You dont want to stress the fish to a point where they swallow or scratch themselves against a rock or something.
