YeW Posted August 7, 2005 Share Posted August 7, 2005 Lucifer - If are talking about Gambusia affinis you would be hypothetically better off breeding some from wildcaught stock (this is illegal as the fish is noxious). Keep in mind that feeding of any live vertebrates to other aniamals is regarded (by the RSPCA) as animal cruelty and is something not supported by ACE. For most cichlids, it's unnecessary and risks the health of your cichlids. Not to the issues mention potentially feeding native fishes, rather than noxious species such as G. affinis.
