youngy_11
hi i am after info on any types of silver fish that are suitable with other cichlids. I don't mind silver sharks but are a little PANSY for my liking and i don't want silver dollas because they eat live plants. Any suggestions? thanks youngy
anchar
How about Monodactylus argenteus (or the other mono who's name escapes me atm) or possibly one of the Selenotoca species (scat). Andrea
wormboy
dont cichlds eat plants too? You have already discounted two of my recommendations, what about something a little rarer such as cigar sharks, pink tail chalecus, or tinfoil babs, or if you like there are quite a few cichlids, particularly females which are quite silvery (fem. electric blues, F. rostratus and Copadichromis species) have a look at a few of these. -worm- ps Monodactylus sebae is the other mono

youngy_11
Yes i have a mixture of african and american. But i am lucky most of my mates fish eat plant but mine don't touch them. . Im thinking about getting a big mono argentus. i like them and they are more tough rather than the mono sabres. thanks youngy
