fishly
I just set up a new tank, and I put 2 bog wood with plants in the tank 3 days ago. and today I noticed that on some part of the bog wood, it has some white fluppy things on them :o . are they fungus, parasite or something else? Do you think I have to empty the tank and restart it again ?Please let me know what to do. Cheers,:^:Fisly
anchar
Sounds like fungi. If it is fungi, bristlenoses will take care of it. It is harmless.merjo
fishly
Thanks Merjo. :D . But are they safe for mbuna?
anchar
Safe - yes. Don't forget that too much wood will lower the ph (difficult to keep buffered) which is not ideal for the high pH loving mbunas.merjo
