Lucifer Posted January 8, 2005 Share Posted January 8, 2005 my fighter is sick he has been like that for a few days not eatting or swiming around, just in one spot he is in a blow about 5 liters water gets changed every week changed the water 2 days ago because i thought it was the water he has tinny little bubles all over his body someone know what they are? (rule no 1 with bettas: have at least 3lrs of water, Rule no 2 with bettas have a heater because they are no less tropical than your cichlids) You definately have enough space, but if his water temp climbs and falls day and night this can be very stress full on the fish and the fish are also able to recover better under higher temperatures, i know that bettas can tolerate 32oc without a problem. Lucifer Posted January 11, 2005 Author Share Posted January 11, 2005 yesterday morning he started to have fin root as well so i bought mult cure, not sure which brand it was but will find out tonite using it at the moment, hope he gets well soon he is in a fish blow so there is no heater the blow sits on top of my fish tank the temp may very about 5C during the day and night, but this has not been a problem for him cuz hes been there for over 2 months Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
