Lepperfish Posted January 3, 2005 Share Posted January 3, 2005 You fill up your new highly anticipated 4 foot tank with substrate and change your mind on it.. I used black gravel and mixed shell grits through it.. Didnt have the desired effect so I ditched that and now deciding on something different.. Think Im going to use something similar as in my 4x2x2 - fine gold gravel with shell grit mixed through it.. Any other suggestions? r.d.m Posted January 4, 2005 Share Posted January 4, 2005 ash, ill have to do something like that, would you believe that the tank is absolutely spot on level! it must be the wire under it, its 3 core wire and its now about2mm thick and 10mm wide!!!
