Huyey
Sounds like they can join the circus.... :D  I have never had this happen to my e. yellows before. Maybe its the new tank environment that makes them go funny.Cheers, :D Huy
cisco
With limited experience I am curious whether the loss of body control (which is permanent) is the result of inbreeding, stress from outside influences - not a nice thing to watchRoss
Ben
Hi Ross,Do you know what you water parameters are? Sounds like there is something wrong there. Did the fist yellow go this way after a water change? If so how do you do your water changes?Cheers
Ducksta
Sounds like brain damage to me (I have had it happen to my fish - very sad thing to see)Can be caused by lack of oxygen, and also by toxins building up in the water I believe. Thats all I know, but it really does suck.
misty62
Hi ciscoSorry to hear about your yellows I lost a colony of Electric yellows a while back I had 21 all up and sounded very much like yours did the would be head up to the top of the tank for a day or so then swim sideways and start to lose balance then just die. I did notice with all mine that every one of them had a small pink spot at the tail end about an inch from the end. At the time no one could tell me what it was and I lost all my fish.Hope this doesnt happen to yours but check for this spot i dont know what it is or if it was what caused my fish to die as we did a water change too a few days before but that was not the only tank to have a water change we did 16 other tanks and no ill effects.keep us informed as to the outcome.
