Mountainmark
These are species (not necessarily all the colour morphs or localities) which i know are in Australia. However this is in no way an exhaustive list. And some of the genus names may have changed (especially the Pseudotropheus species)Cynotilapia afraIodotropheus sprengeraeLabeotropheus fuelleborniLabeotropheus trewavasaeLabidochromis caeruleusLabidochromis sp. "perlmutt" Labidochromis freibergiPseudotropheus "acei" Pseudotropheus auroraPseudotropheus callainosPseudotropheus crabroPseudotropheus demasoniPseudotropheus elongatusPseudotropheus estheraePseudotropheus greshakeiPseudotropheus hajomaylandiPseudotropheus livingstoniiPseudotropheus lombardoiPseudotropheus macrophthalmusPseudotropheus perspicaxPseudotropheus saulosiPseudotropheus socolofiMelanochromis parallelusMelanochromis johanniiMelanochromis dialeptosMelanochromis cyaneorhabdosMelanochromis chipokae (?)Melanochromis auratusAgain this is nowhere near exhaustive. But as you can see there is a range to choose from. Maybe others will add the obvious ones i've missed because i'm way to tired :Z: Anyway i hope this starts it off.HTH
OziOscar
Go check out www.fishbase.org.There is a feature there where you can get lists of species by their locale. Eg Wanna know all fish in Lake Malawi? Select it and it gives you the list with scientific name (first, clickable to profile information and pics of relevant species), plus additional data, plus common name. Cheers - OziOscar.
