Ash Posted December 12, 2004 Share Posted December 12, 2004 hey all, my 7' tank finally arrived and made it 30km on the back of a truck with no cracks. Once we got it 1/2 full however it cracked. Now the crack is on the backplate and the previous owner has siliconed a sheet of sandstone to the backplate, as a background. Now usually a patch would go on the inside, can you patch on the outside? It's either that or I get a whole 7'x15" sheet made up which would cost more than trashing the bloody thing & starting again.
