As they get bigger 4cm+ I think $25 is fair from a breeder, like myself for instance. From a shop I guess you can expect to pay around triple that. Fins Posted October 26, 2004 Share Posted October 26, 2004 Also guys, I find that the Golds are painfully slow growers. Even more so than calvus or other alto. comp. variants. I can get other altos to a sellable size 2 months before the Golds. Don't ask me why, that's just what I noticed. Haven`t seen them around for a while, although I heard a shop up the coast had them recently at about 4-5cm for $120 each. I guess it depends on how much you want them.
